Recipe of the week--- Energy for breakfast

Ingredients-- 1 envelope of plain instant oatmeal.
 2/3 cup of water.
1/4cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 teaspoon


First step--- Open oatmeal envelope. Pour oatmeal into a microwave safe bowl.Add the water to the oatmeal.Cover with a piece of waxed paper.Put bowl in microwave oven  and cook on 100% Power (high) for 1 to 2 minutes until thickened. Remove bowl from microwave Stir with a wooden  spoon until mixed. Add apple sauce and apple pie spice to oatmeal;stir until mixed. Makes one serving. Enjoy!! Calories:131.

Fun fact of this weeks recipe: Oatmeal month is celebrated in January, the month that most Americans buy more oatmeal than any other month in the year!
